Zip Line
An outdoor adventure in Tuscany: discover the excitement of flying!
Zip lines are one of the most popular outdoor activities for lovers of nature and adventure.
Zip lines are one of the most popular outdoor activities for lovers of nature and adventure.
There are various kinds of zip line routes, usually found within adventure parks. They consist of suspended steel wires, of varying lengths, with a pulley attached so you can slide (zip!) along the length in complete safety.
Zip wires can be several hundred metres long (fly lines) or can be shorter, usually used to substitute a bridge between two points. They can be of varying heights and gradients, but they all have one thing in common: excitement!
This activity is suitable for everyone over 10 years old and at least 140cm tall. It’s very safe, and doesn’t require any special skills.
It’s perfect for adventure lovers, families, nature lovers, stag or hen parties, groups of students and team building exercises.
The Canyon Zip Line in Tuscany is one of only 4 in the whole of Europe to be situated inside a Canyon. A high ropes adventure with various zip lines, the course is suspended above the Lima river – in Bagni di Lucca, in the Lima valley.
The route includes zip lines and also Tibetan bridges, slack lines and various other crossings. Enjoy the unique views above the extraordinarily clear water (one of the most beautiful fresh water spots in the world).
The zip line course departs once an hour, accompanied by a Canyon Park instructor. You need to book your place (booking is free). Canyon Zip Line uses an innovative lifeline system to make sure that visitors are ALWAYS attached to the wire and can enjoy themselves in complete safety.
Canyon Park is a real ecosystem offering a variety of outdoor activities in the heart of Tuscany. The Park is located in a woodland area, close to a Roman bridge and a 16th century chapel building. You can try out a range of activities here including SUP, Yoga in the forest and SUP Yoga.
There is also a woodland area dedicated to children’s activities: The Kids’ Forest. You can leave the kids here while you partake in the other activities available at the park.
We don’t have a bar or restaurant – there is, however, a picnic area. Canyon Park only uses energy that nature provides (solar energy, spring water and compost toilets).
In 2021 we introduced an environmental evaluation project, ECOlab, which offers visitors an enhanced experience.
Canyon Park provide all the equipment that you need to enjoy your activity in complete safety: helmet, harness, safety equipment, gloves, mobile phone pouch.
The most important thing is to feel comfortable – we recommend sports clothing and trainers
The activity generally lasts between 90/120 minutes.
In case of light or passing rain, the activity will still go ahead. If storms or heavy rain are forecast, we will send you a message from the booking system with updates and instructions.
In just 5 years, Canyon Park’s ecological and sustainable vision for its adventure park has earned us 1,500 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor.
Canyon Park has provided the location for various national and international broadcasts, including Linea Verde for RAI1. Footage for RedBull has also been shot here, featuring dives from the characteristic bridge. We’ve even hosted music videos and shootings of famous athletes’ training sessions!
